April 15

On 04152026 at approximately 1218 hours, Deputies arrested Samantha Cahill of Junction City, KS in the 800 block of East Chestnut Street on two Geary County District Court Warrants for Failure to Appear. 

On 04152026 at approximately 1308 hours, Deputies arrested Bethany Lynn Garcia of Salina, KS at 6th and Reynolds Street for Driving While License Revoked, No Proof of Insurance, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Interference with LEO (F) and Improper Driving on Laned Roadway. 

On 04152026 at approximately 1344 hours, Deputies responded to US 77 Highway, mm 157 for a single-vehicle non-injury accident. Juan Nuno Martinez of Junction City, KS was traveling southbound in a 2024 Gray Ford F150 when he overcorrected and struck a concrete bridge wall. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was removed by Renegade Wrecker.  

April 16

The Geary County Sheriff’s Office responded to or self-initiated a total of (52) Incidents, resulting in (5) cases, (14) citations and (4) arrests.

On 04162026 at approximately 1043 hours, Deputies arrested Curtis Hodges of Milford, KS in the 800 block of South Washington on a Geary County District Court Warrant for Rape; Offender over 18 and Victim under 14 and Aggravated Intimidation of Victim under 18. 

On 04162026 at approximately 1120 hours, Deputies arrested William Bivens of Junction City, KS at 826 North Franklin Streeton a Geary County District Court Warrant for Probation Violation. 

On 04162026 at approximately 1255 hours, Deputies responded to I70 W/B, mm 303 for a single non-injury vehicle accident. Gentry Hernandez of Aurora, CO was traveling westbound in a 2003 Lexus ES300 when he fell asleep at the wheel. Hernandez over-corrected striking the concrete median twice. No injuries were reported and vehicle was left on scene. 

On 04162026 at approximately 1344 hours, Deputies responded to K18 Bypass, mm 177 for a non-injury vehicle accident. Michael Fry of Junction City was traveling Eastbound in a 2018 Ford F150, when he rear ended another vehicle. The second vehicle was 2016 GMC Terrain being driven by Angela Bell of Salina, KS. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were removed by Homestead Wrecker.

On 04162026 at approximately 2054 hours, Deputies arrested Tymario Robbins of Junction City, KS in the 1100 block of N Washington St for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

On 04162026 at approximately 2348 hours, Deputies arrested Miguel Aleman-Rodriguez of Oklahoma City, OK near mile marker 154 US 77 Highway for Driving without a valid license and speeding. 

April 17

The Geary County Sheriff’s Office responded to or self-initiated a total of (24) Incidents, resulting in (7) cases, (0) citations and (3) arrests.

On 04172026 at 1533 hours- Deputies were dispatched to 2901 Range Road for a two-vehicle minor injury accident. Joshua Tacy of Junction City, KS who was backing out of a residence on Range Road in a 2020 Mercedes Metris Mail Truck. When his Mercedes Mail Truck was struck in the rear by Markeith Pringle of Junction City, KS who was traveling in his 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. Markeith reported minor injuries to his hand and groin areas and was transported from the scene by EMS. Joshua did not sustain any injuries. The Chevrolet Silverado was removed from the scene by Renegade Wrecker, with the Mercedes Mail Truck being removed from the scene by a Post Office Supervisor.  

On 04172026 at 1544 hours- Deputies arrested Alexius Mims of Junction City, KS at 801 N. Washington St, on a Geary County District Court Warrant for Probation Violation.  

On 04182026 at 0054 hours- Deputies arrested Jemell Richardson of Wamego, KS in the 100 block of W. 13th for Driving under the influence of alcohol 2nd offense, Ignition interlock required, Transporting open container, Interference with LEO, Improper driving on laned road, and Speeding.

On 04182026 at 0054 hours- Deputies arrested Shawna Bard of Manhattan, KS in the 100 block of W. 13th for Interference with LEO, Transporting open container, and Disorderly conduct.

April 18 

The Geary County Sheriff’s Office responded to or self-initiated a total of (53) Incidents, resulting in (12) cases, (6) citations and (3) arrests.

On 04182026 at 0705 hours- Deputies were dispatched to the 10000 Block of Humboldt Creek for a single vehicle minor injury accident. Jobe Cormier of Kaplan. LA was traveling South on Humboldt Creek in his 2019 Chevrolet Silverado when he advised a second vehicle caused him to swerve and this action caused him to strike the guardrail. This caused disabling damage, Jobe complained of minor pain to his hand. Vehicle was removed from the scene by Renegade Wrecker. 

On 04182026 at 1820 hours- Deputies arrested Fred Morgan of Junction City, KS at 826 N. Franklin St, for Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Threat, and two counts of Battery on a Correctional Officer. 

On 04182026 at 2332 hours- Deputies arrested Dilan Velasquez of Indiana on Interstate 70 mile marker 303 WB for Driving Without a License and Speeding.

On 04192026 at 1755 hours-Deputies arrested Chloe L. Schnee of Wakefield, KS at 826 N. Franklin Street on a Nemaha County District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear.
